The main ingredient of Dark Crescent's sound is the group's crunchy guitar riffs, courtesy of Ahrimass. Funny enough, though, it has been ex.drummer Mercurial St. who has penned the lion's share of Dark Crescent's music, but it's Ahrimass who has been the lyric writer since early on.Dogu fell under the spell of Dark Throne early on, resulting in an interest in guitar, and by the early Unholy Black Metal.Looking to form a band in that style, Ahrimass formed Dark Crescent.Dogu and his bandmates also soon became all about breaking down musical barriers previously thought to be 'off-limits' -- first merging black metal and together in Vasati 3 Çöp.Regardless, Ahrimass's contributions to the world of black metal remain quite significant.
